Ken Cochrane,

President

As the leader of ADAMS, Ken works closely with clients to guide them through the branding process, helping them achieve their goals. A range of corporate experience paired with a marketing and sales background gives Ken a unique perspective when developing brand strategy.

With over 25 years experience in both large public companies and privately held enterprises, Ken brings a wealth of knowledge in management, sales, marketing, and brand strategy. A member of senior management, Ken served as Senior Vice President at Transamerica for over five years, where he managed sales, business development, marketing, and strategic partnerships, consistently exceeding sales goals. Earlier in his career, Ken served as Regional Vice President and Regional Sales Manager at Transamerica and also Regional Sales Director for Mutual Benefit Life.

Ken holds a BA from Bucknell University and serves on the boards of The Fruitlands Museum, The Harvard Historical Society, and Fleur de Lis Camp.

Karen Polcaro,

Director of Brand Strategy

An adept and creative problem-solver, Karen helps guide clients through the strategic branding process. Responsible for project management, content development, and design— Karen works closely with the creative team to produce effective and compelling communications.

Prior to joining ADAMS, Karen managed a variety of successful print, Web, and direct mail projects at an in-house marketing department. There, she was responsible for content and creative development as well as production of all marketing communications in addition to working on corporate branding initiatives and overseeing conceptualization and development of the company’s Internet and Intranet sites.

Karen holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design and an MS in Corporate Communication from Northeastern University.

Holly Peterson,

Creative Manager

With exceptional conceptual and strategic thinking skills, Holly helps clients attain their creative vision. She interprets brand strategy, develops a creative approach, and oversees development of visual brand elements—creating innovative solutions for a variety of print, Web, advertising, and direct mail communications.

Before joining ADAMS, Holly worked as a designer in both professional and freelance capacities. Her breadth of experience includes Web site design and programming; direct mail; corporate collateral; logo design; and advertising. She has worked with a range of clients including large corporations, private enterprises, and fine artists.

Holly holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design.
